Autumn in The Woods

  1. Nicely crafted post - multimedia! Just like being there. Reminds me, must get to some woods and photograph some autumn fungi.

  2. PS: I think the human in the falls photo improves it - gives some scale.

  6. Your woods look so much like my woods. :) I love fall! Although we don't have nearly as many evergreens near our house, it's mostly Aspens. And of course, they're all bare right now. Winter's just around the bend.

  7. @ notagain: (sorry for the delay in responding; I've been busy collecting more typers!)

I'm using a pretty basic, borderline crappy camera actually -- a Kodak EasyShare. Bulky, awkward, doesn't take good indoor pictures. Temperamental flash. Clunky. It's the camera I've "loved to hate" for 4 years now.

I tweak almost all the pictures in PhotoShop, usually just fiddling with brightness and contrast.

It's a good lesson for me to learn, to make do with what I've got!

  8. P.S. Obviously I have NOT learned that lesson with typewriters!
